A character sketch is a description of a real person or a character from a movie or book explaining the person's personality, values, and physical description.

HOW TO
Take notes for the information below in order to write your character sketch.  
You should write two to three in-depth paragraphs: physical description and personality/values description.


What does the person look like?

Hair, eyes, clothing, walk, smile, mannerisms

What does the person act like?

What things do they do? say? any expressions said commonly?

What is the person's personality like?

What traits does the person express? Think about how the person thinks, acts, talks, and feels.  Find words to explain and describe these traits.  Personality Traits List (Note: Look at the list for ideas -- you are not required to complete the activities.  They are a resource for traits and values your person represents.)

What values do they follow? Think about how the person thinks, acts, talks, and feels.  Find words to explain and describe these values. Personality Values List (Note: Look at the list for ideas -- you are not required to complete the activities.  They are a resource for traits and values your person represents.)
