What is your main idea statement?

Write that as your topic sentence. Make sure you include the 5Ws: Who, What, When, Where, Why (no because).

Use your details and supporting details to explain your main idea. Be specific. After most ideas, ADD YOUR OWN ideas: connections/thoughts/opinions.

Checklist:

• The main idea of all of the scenes (5Ws)?
• At least six supporting ideas that flow one to the other?
• At least three of your own ideas/connections/opinions logically placed in your composition?
• Transition Words?
• Concluding sentence or question?
